Sawgrass Village Gets New Coffee & Ice Cream Shop

Ponte Vedra Beach is (finally!) getting it's own local coffee shop in Foxtail Coffee. The cafe is opening in Sawgrass Village in a completely renovated corner location and will feature not only Foxtail Coffee, but also a stand for Kelly's Ice Cream, making it a must-visit no matter the weather outside.

Foxtail is an Orlando based coffee brand and says their Sawgrass Village location will be the first in the Jacksonville area and their 38th across the country. They say they'll serve a full coffee menu plus food for breakfast and lunch. The new spot will also have beer and wine available in the evenings.

Inside Foxtail, you can expect indoor and outdoor seating. Grab a drink at bar top seating and interact with baristas, or snag some 'comfy chairs' to enjoy time with friends. While Sawgrass Village is home to a number of Ponte Vedra Beach restaurants, this is it's first coffee shop and will bring an additional daytime offering to families and those working remotely.

The chain says the expect to open a second Jacksonville location in San Marco in late 2022.

Foxtail Coffee opened its first location in Orlando in 2016 and has grown ever since. In 2021, the Florida-based company opened its first café outside the state in Newnan, Georgia. More stores will open in the Atlanta market this year.
